Early in his career, Travis Barker decided he wanted to be a drummer so badly that he was willing ta take a huge risk. He wanted to make sure he was unemployable so he couldn’t escape from his dream by taking an ordinary job. So, he got some tattoos. Any prospective employer would look at him and say, “No way.”

Now, Travis had to be a drummer. He had quite purposely eliminated all other choices. For Travis it worked to such a degree that he is world-famous, and has branched out into multi-million dollar merchandising.

I’m not sure I recommend something so drastic for you. On the other hand, many people have fallen short of the life they really wanted because they took the easy way out.
